More and more states are beginning to regulate or license home inspectors. Many states have already established insurance requirements for all inspectors. Scroll down to find out the requirements for your state.
 
Alabama

Insurance Requirements:
1. General Liability Insurance
a. Minimum $20,000 for injury or damage to property
b. Minimum $50,000 for injury or damage (including death) to any one person
c. Minimum $100,000 for injury or damage (including death) to more than one person
2. E&O Insurance
a. Minimum of $250,000 E&O
